Our Story
Share the Lane for Amy Wayne was created to honor the memory of Amy. On October 26, 2012 Amy was struck and killed by a car while running in the early hours of the morning. The purpose of the Share the Lane event is to increase awareness for safety of all users of the roadway - runners, walkers, pedestrians, bikers and drivers. The traffic lanes in our community are just not conducive to safety for athletes, and everyone must be aware that they are being used by a variety of active community members​.
This will be our 4th year! The first year we raised money for Amy's daughter, Adalee. In 2014 we helped the children of Heidi Bayer. And last year we helped Chylee, who is still in her fight against cancer. To learm more about Chylee, follow her on Facebook...
